A unique path

David Hanna was born in the world of leather. It was in the family Saddlery workshop that the love for this profession naturally came to him.

At the age of 12 he decided to start his apprenticeship to learn the fundamentals of the saddlery trade which he was already passionate  about.

Choose the best leathers, making, undoing, always looking for the right gesture while respecting traditional know-how.

His first achievement was to make his first harnesses on his own at the age of 17… There were custom-made for a mare named Prouès…

With his recognized expertise, David was soon entrusted by a collector with the restoration of historic horse-drawn vehicles. There he discovered the codes and demands of luxury, new leather processing techniques, and honed his innate sense of aesthetics.

It was in 1989 that David decided to stand on his own by opening his first saddlery workshop. Its growing number of customers will entrust him with the creation of new equipment every day. Custom-made harnesses and saddles, matching accessories, personalized bags that will delight his customers to the point of asking him to make them into handbags!

Meilleur Ouvrier de France

For David, it is a new revelation: Leather goods are a universe where his creativity and sense of refinement can be fully expressed!… Gradually his career expanded with this new profession: he became a saddler.

In order to close his career as a saddler and harness-maker in the best possible way, he enrolled the prestigious "Un des Meilleurs Ouvriers de France" competition, wich he won the title in 2004.
